Back in 1994 we became aware of a Turntablist and upcoming turntable performer by the Name of DJ Craze. He did some wild crazy things in the 1994 Technics DMC eliminations and we actually were very impressed with him even this early in his development. His set included a Bass line break down of “Goodbye” and at the end he had a small botched up little spiderman routine, because the table he stood on wobbled too much, but even with the small misshaps his overall routine was still rather impressive.

He didn’t win that year, but DJ Craze definitely came back with a vengeance in future years taking home the title of DMC world champion and the golden turntables not just One time but Three years in a row. At age 20 DJ Craze took the title from then defending DMC World Champion A-Trak, the wonder kid that at the age of 15 became the youngest DMC champion to win the title.

Check out the 1998 DMC USA Finals

and World Finals Routines

After beating A-Trak, DJ Craze saw great potential in joining forces with DJ A-Trak and immediately formed a DJ crew called “The Allies” who’s member’s also came to include Craze’s former DJ Crew member DJ Infamous. DJ Craze would become a Three time Champion defending his DMC Title while also capturing a few other Titles including the DMC Team Champion Title with his crew the Allies.

In his routines DJ Craze brought elements of Drum n Bass to turntablism, first flipping Hip Hop beats into Dum N Bass beats with precise beat juggles with various sounds and bass lines. DJ Craze has always been very fluid, original and entertaining with his DJ battle routines. While he may not have been the most technically advanced scratch artist when he won his first title, he was by far the most well rounded DJ in the battle. His routine incorporated strong dis intros and outros, a very tightly executed set of beat juggles, ambidextrous scratch skills, body tricks, and that indelible DJ Craze charm and flair that not only helped him win that year but also allowed him to defend his title in subsequent years. Like a fine wine his scratch skills also improved tremendously over time, making Craze an even more formidable DJ in his 1999 DMC Battle, 2000 Battle and beyond.

DJ Craze’s 1998 DMC title and subsequent wins afforded him the ability to tour extensively throughout the world. We’ve seen him several times and his style has changed dramatically over the years.

In 1998 we saw him in a much smaller club playing a variety of underground hip hop, east coast hip hop, and oldschool hip hop with just a touch of drum n bass here and there and of course a performance at the end of his 1998 winning DMC routine. In later years DJ Craze started incorporating more e Drum n Bass and later some hard hitting Electro House tracks interspersed with some hip hop and old school along with some beat juggles scratches and routines. Craze basically asks questions to find out which of his fans are in the house and based on the crowd to response will play more or less of each style of music. One of the best shows we’ve seen DJ Craze perform at also included world famous Human Beat Boxer Killa Kela. Together the two were an unstoppable force that commanded the dance floor and created a magical night that really stuck in our heads as one of our favorite club nights of all time.

Craze is a magician on the turntables, he can basically rock just about any style of music but his love runs deep for Drum N Bass, Hip Hop and now even some Dub-Step. It’s all about bass, funkyness and a good vibe. As a turntablist he loves to experiment with sounds and as a DJ he knows how to rock the crowds.

Music production is a strong passion for Craze as well and he loves producing his own tracks.

Here are some more recent routines using Tracktor Scratch

DJ Craze and his turntable pal Klever to have a chuckle about their most embarrassing DMC moments…

DJ Craze: “One word: Spiderman. It was my first DMC nationals competition. I was 17 or 18 – I had a fro, mad pimples, crooked teeth… I looked horrible. I did the dumbest trick ever in DMC. I had two ‘Protect Ya Neck’s by Wu-Tang and it went ‘…Spiderman, Spiderman’ so I put on a mask and then I jumped on the decks and it was just horrible – and I got booed! People were like, ‘What the fuck? Boo!’ My girl saw it and was like, ‘Oh my god, you were ugly as fuck!’”

Klever: “I can tell you my worst moment – losing to fuckin’ Plus One in ’01. I still love you Plus One. I’m not bitter…”

DJ Craze: “It was kinda my fault too, I was a judge!”

Klever: “Really?”

DJ Craze: “It was on me.”

Klever: “I’m gonna kick this guy’s ass.”

DJ Craze: “You don’t remember? It was all down to me – it came down to my vote! I thought that was why you always bring that shit up? Awkward… Next question! But look at you now homie!”

Klever: “It wasn’t embarrassing, it was a let down. It was written though – I felt like the UK hasn’t had a championship deejay in like a decade, so I felt that we [the US] had held it down so he was destined to win.”

DJ Craze has always been an innovator. A very versatile DJ that learned how to scratch well with either hand, by neccesity as he puts it because his fader on his old mixer used to go out on One side so he would switch practicing scratches with the side that still cut.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — An entire month of WINNING (or losing) court battles and Winning Comedy Tour has Actor Charlie Sheen touring court rooms and venues across the country. Charlie Sheen showed Tuesday why sometimes even winning warlocks need wings as he donned two lovely ladies on each arm.

Charlie Sheen winning warlock with godesses

The former “Two and a Half Men” star started his day in a Los Angeles divorce court for a child custody hearing, and will end it in Washington, D.C., where he’s scheduled to perform his stage show. And somewhere in the middle was a hearing in Santa Monica for his $100 million lawsuit against his former employers, in which his lawyers argued for a public trial. Sheen is seeking custody of his twin sons with estranged wife Brooke Mueller. Their divorce will be finalized in roughly two weeks. Sheen, clad in a black suit and orange tie in court, didn’t reveal the hearing’s outcome, which was sealed by the judge. Mueller left the courtroom smiling and hugged her attorney, but was equally tight-lipped.

Across town in Santa Monica, Sheen’s attorneys told a judge that they want his lawsuit against Warner Bros. Television and “Men” executive producer Chuck Lorre to be heard in a public court and not through private arbitration as his former employers want. Sheen’s attorneys claim an arbitration clause in the actor’s contract is unconscionable, but the studio’s attorneys contend it is valid. The judge in the civil case has up to a month to render a decision.

Sheen’s appearance in the Los Angeles divorce court was relatively subdued, though not without the distinct touches he has displayed in recent interviews and on his stage show. Sheen, who often describes himself as a warlock (among other superlatives), is on a multi-city tour in which he regales audiences with tales of his exploits as one of Hollywood’s top-paid actors. As the judge ordered the courtroom cleared for the custody hearing, Sheen fist-bumped a reporter. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Hank Goldberg sealed the hearing at the request of Mueller’s attorney, saying it was “in the best interest of the children” because of “questions of abuse and other inflammatory and emotional issues.” The actor and his estranged wife have sparred in court in recent months, with Mueller accusing Sheen of threatening her with a pen knife. The couple reached an agreement, and Mueller dropped a request for a restraining order. Sheen’s attorney, Mark Gross, said in court it was unfair that Mueller’s attorneys hadn’t sought to seal the restraining order, which detailed alleged threats Sheen had made. The day encompassed the complicated life Sheen faces after “Two and a Half Men.” Another hearing on custody issues was scheduled for June 9. Despite the busy day, Sheen’s team was encouraged by the legal proceedings from the Warner Bros. and Lorre lawsuit. Sheen’s lawyers presented their arguments for several hours. Howard Weitzman, Lorre’s attorney, asked Sheen’s attorney how he expected the judge would rule. “You know what I expect to hear,” Marty Singer replied. “We’re winning!”

Indeed Charlie Sheen has been” WINNING” with the unprecedented amount of media attention and social site attention. With key phrases from his notorious interviews being repeated across the globe from his comments on “winning” and “Tiger Blood” to his comments on his high alcohol tolerance. While he maybe in for a huge crash later, all we can say is with all this exposure Charlie Sheen is most definitely “WINNING” right now.

Weekend Warning: Daggering, Can A Dance Craze Kill Your Sex Life?

There is a Jamaican dance craze called daggering and apparently doctors in Jamaica attribute daggering to a threefold increase in broken penises. As a result, government officials have banned any type of media promoting the dance, which simulates rough sex. Apparently, those who try to dagger in the bedroom—the same rowdy moves in real life sex situations versus faking it on the dancefloor are getting hurt.

Below is a video showing a few examples of daggering

…is this really the root of an island-wide epidemic? With the weekend fast approaching, we wanted to know if aggressive dancing could really be a factor in what is both a terrible injury and a total buzzkill.

Newsweek interviewed Dr. Larry Lipschultz, professor of urology at the Baylor College of Medicine, talked about what it takes to cause a broken penis, how painful it can be, and the dangerous consequences if untreated. (Dr. Lipschultz was not aware of the daggering phenomenon or of the alleged problems with which it is associated).

What exactly constitutes a broken penis?

A broken penis, also known as a fractured penis, is due to a tear in the tunica albuginea, which is the covering of the erectile tissue of the penis. What does it actually take to break one? A sudden bending of the penis when it’s in the erect state. We see it in men who are having intercourse and then just are thrusting. They miss the vagina and then they hit the [pubic] bone and their penis bends in half quickly and it fractures. They get a sudden, sharp pain and it gets black and blue. If you operate on them, you see a tear in the tunic covering the erectile tissue.

So it can only happen during intercourse?

No. If you have an erection and it’s thrust up against something that’s not going to accommodate it, or [will cause it to] bend—a sharp bend will cause a fracture or breaking of the erectile tissue covering.

Do you know if using drugs like Viagra are making men more prone to the injury?

No, it doesn’t make them more prone. Anything that can enable someone to have an erection would make them more prone, because then they would be able to experience this problem. I think basically these people in Jamaica are having an increased frequency [of injury] because they’re having these erections but they’re not penetrating.

How often have you come across that problem?

We usually see the sequelae of it, rather than the actual event. A lot of times men won’t come in when [the inital break] happens. But what happens is they form a scar, and the scar causes the penis to bend or to develop Peyronie’s disease [a connective tissue disorder which can cause unnatural curveature of the penis]. People believe now that Peyronie’s disease is most commonly due to trauma to the penis.

Is a broken penis preventable?

It’s a low incident in general. I think it’s preventable if men are more careful during intercourse—but I mean, in the heat of the moment, it happens.

You described the type of pain that they would experience. What would you equate that pain to? I’d say on a scale of 1 to 10, it would be an 8, it’s really painful. The quicker the person gets to the emergency room and gets treated, the more likely he’s not going to develop a permanent deformity.

A song from Snoop Dogg’s latest album, Malice n Wonderland, recently leaked to the Internet. The song called out Lil Wayne and Birdman for their 2006 public kiss. Has Snoop Dogg become a hater?"

This all started as a response to the question Is Snoop Dogg a hater? The question was posed on Hip HopVibe stated that Snoop Dogg was acting in a hater like fashion dogging on Souljah Boy and on Lil wayne.

“Recently, Snoop Dogg admitted to something truly horrible, the Doggfather, himself, has admitted to being a hater. Seeing how long Snoop has been out of the public eye, it would be hard to even track his recent activities. But, Snoop has shown some hater-like characteristics.

Last month, Snoop Dogg revealed that he had dissed Soulja Boy. People love to criticize Soulja Boy because of his style. His music may not appeal to everyone, but he brought something new, which is the essence of hip hop music. So, Snoop’s negative comments about Soulja Boy do give the impression that he is hating.

For the past few years, Lil Wayne has risen to the top of the game. In this same span, Snoop Dogg has been falling off. Looking at how hard Snoop has been working, this can be very frustrating. It is easy to imagine him going at Wayne out of sheer anger.

A song from Snoop Dogg’s latest album, Malice n Wonderland, recently leaked to the Internet. The song called out Lil Wayne and Birdman for their 2006 public kiss. Has Snoop Dogg become a hater?”

Lil Wayne is way to overatted when he should just be hated instead, Lil Wayne seems to live by the old saying “lets just throw a bunch of shit on the wall and see what sticks” he puts out a billion songs most of them crap and hopes One or two will stick. He’s been quite lucky that people have embraced him as much as they have in recent time considering how annoying his whiny cry baby sounding rap style tends to be. His style does seem to work on a few tracks here and there and his metaphors can sometimes be quite creative which is what gives him his appeal and it doesn’t hurt that most of the beats he rhymes over are club worthy Hip Hop beats.

The reality is this is what the entire music industry has been reduced to. Now in the digital era labels seem to think they can sign more artists, and push more of them at the same time. this is because the labels no longer have to send out as many physical copies of their artist’s single and albums, they simply email them to DJs and distribution services. So the record labels think they can just put out a ton of garbage and we as consumers will sort out the gems for them. That is what DJs used to do for the labels but now it’s getting out of hand. The labels send out way too much bad music cause they no longer are concerened with putting out real high quality albums since most users will download only the songs they want from each album. The emphasis lately seems to be on more rather then higher quality. Then they wonder why their sales are slumping.

To be fair, Lil Wayne he really does have a unique style and while annoying as hell on many tracks the tracks that work well with him really come out quite unique because of Lil Wayne. Stick anyone else in his place and many of these tracks just wouldn’t have the same appeal. On a few occasions Lil Wayne really makes the track the hit that it is. But is it just pure luck that blogs DJs and magazines keep pushing Lil Wayne like he’s a drug? Or are we all just falling for the hype and jumping on the bandwagon? Lil Wayne definitly knows how to deliver the heavy punchlines and metaphors that make one think. But is that enough to warrant the steady stream of mixtapes featuring Lil Wayne on the cover and all exclusive Lil wayne tracks? Or are DJs just pushing him because he’s popular in an effort to cash in on the Lil Wayne express, and thusly making him more popular by default? Lil wayne even dissed the mixtape DJs and the entire mixtape industry. He dissed the very people partially responsible for his rise to stardom and still the DJs don’t boycott him and take him out of circulation.

Soulja Boy on the other hand has very little lyrical flow his style if you can call it that is very lazy slurred and unrefined. So far he has been able to hang in solely due to some of Hip Hop’s hardest recent beats and the fact that his first major hit was a huge corny immitatable dance. Crank Dat had the hardes Kettle Drum sounds ever used on a Hip Hop song and that is what ultimately made Soulja Boy famous. Had anyone else rapped over those beats they would have been the ones standing in Soulja Boy’s place while he would be relegated to the side lines. However we do believe Soulja Boy will eventually mature [into a Souljahh Man?] musicaly in both his content and his lyrics. His flow is changing and One can occasionally hear improvements from the young ultra skinny boy. Tila Tequila toyed with every young adolecent boy’s fantasy on Twitter earlier in the month when she announced that she was getting married. Tila however discredited her own make believe story by stating she was getting married to Soulja Boy, after which almost nobody believed she was getting married. I mean, who would ever think that Tila Tequila would marry such a tiny skinny funny looking boy as Soulja Boy, but then again Love is strange and can hit us for different reasons, so who knows?

Rick Ross is just plain having a rough year and 50 Cent keeps aiming to make things worse for the Dirty South Rap artist. Rick Ross’ has taken a few heavy hits to his wallet. Earlier in the year Rick Ross had $60,000 worth of jewelry and a laptop stolen by groupies after performing a concert in Tennessee back in June. Now his baby momma and virtual arch-enemy, Tia Kemp, is getting what she’s asked for all along, some of The Boss Rick Ross’ money.

A federal judge ordered Rick Ross (real name William Roberts) to pay Tia Kemp child support for their son William Roberts III. Tia has aired Ross’ dirty laundry in the open letting everyone know that she hasn’t received a dime from Ross. Tia has also made public her strong hatred and disdain for her former lover Ricky Ross. She took it up a few notches by teaming up with Rick Ross’ latest Hip Hop rival, 50 Cent for a barrage of interviews discrediting Ross’ name.

Tia Kemp didn’t stop there however, She took it up yet another notch with her latest collaboration with rapper Fifty Cent. She’s attacking the bawse’s ego and appearing on two covers of Smooth Magazine with 50 Cent. The pictures depict her posing for 50 Cent with her goodies all in his grill as he pretends to (or actually does) take pictures of her breasts and snatch. Inside the magazine is a featurette on Tia Kemp by Cent, who worked as guest editor on the project.

To make matters worse 50 Cent continued the barage against Rick Ross as he talked even more smack on the radio on the day of the album release of Rick Ross’ new group Triple C’s in an attempt to discredit and destroy the One ray of hope left in Rick Ross’ arsenal.

Despite being hit with baby momma payments, legal fees and a battered ego, Ross was still looking forward to an upcoming album with his Dade County super-group, Triple C’s. Triple C’s, comprised of Gunplay, Torch, Young Breed and the Boss himself released their debut album, Custom & Cars & Cycles. 50 Cent Boasted on the radio “10… That’s my prediction… 10,000 copies” saying that no one was going to buy an album by people they had never heard of before. Of course in the video obviously 50 Cent had bought a copy or was given a copy by someone cauase he opened it up and looked at the different pictures of the group members giving each of them his own comedic names and again brings up the fact that Rick Ross once served as a correctioal facility officer by calling him “officer.”

The new Triple C’s album is spearheaded by their first single “Go” featuring Birdman and promises to be filled with hood records and ladies’ anthems. Also featured on the project are Jeezy, Akon, Mack 10 and Bun B

Video of Fifty Cent Taking shots at Rick Ross and Several Other Rappers
by DANIELLE CANADA October 28, 2009

See the video below, Fifty Cent is taking shots at Rick Ross

“His little boy is having hearing problems and he doesn’t have healthcare!”

50 Cent’s ongoing battle with Rick Ross is never ending. He’s tried his best to embarrass and discredit the Bawse, posing with Ross’s baby momma for risqué photo shoots and helping her throw dirt on his name. Now while promoting his new album, Before I Self Destruct, Fif is dissing him…again. 50 posted a video on his Thisis50 website of a radio interview at 102 Jamz in North Carolina.

The G-Unit leader was having a contest to see if callers could name all four members of Ross’s new group, Triple C’s. If the callers answered correctly, 50 would give them tickets to a football game. Needless to say, it was an epic fail but made for great laughs.

Confused callers kept calling in dumbfounded while Fifty continued his tyrannical rant against Ricky.

“By now you’ve probably googled them and for the first time Google doesn’t even know….Nobody knows them, how do you sell records when nobody knows you?!”

After doodling on the faces of Gunplay, Torch, Young Breed and Ross (Yes those are their names) Fif gave his prediction on their album sales.

“Here’s a prediction, ten. Ten thousand copies….I mean they are a country western group trying to write country western music over really bad Hip-Hop production.”

I swear this guy is hilarious! He hates everybody!

“I’ll take my lumps for a lot of things that, in retrospect, were a little indulgent. Life happens. I don’t regret any of it.” A lifestyle of lavish spending takes its toll overtime as a person has to dig deeper into their pockets to find cash. After awhile, a person will pull out empty pockets as popular Hip-Hop clothing line businessman Marc Ecko had been forced to give up his enterprise.

Initial reports came in September and were made official Tuesday when Ecko signed over a 51 percent interest in the Marc Ecko brand to Iconix. This brand is a New York-based company that owns many popular fashion brands such as Joe Boxer, Candie’s, Rocawear and London Fog.

The exchange with Iconix will see Ecko receiving 63.5 million in cash plus $90 million in financing for a newly formed joint business venture. He will also maintain his position as chief creative officer.

Ecko must have been acting in desperation as he was forced to lay off workers and even auction his Avirex brand and his watch trademarks in order to avoid creditors from breathing down his neck. He is still going through struggles, however, as he is still attempting to lease out pieces of his headquarters in Midtown, which houses everything from a recording studio to a basketball court. The headquarters is 280,000- square-feet in size.

Speaking with the NYPost, Ecko stated that his move has not hurt him as most would think, but has instead given him a sense of relief.

”I’ve lived through a leveraged position. I don’t know whether, once you grow up your business like that, you have full control anymore anyway.”

The brand in itself might have been falling victim to a transition in fashion sense amongst the youth. Known for its baggy appearance and sporting logos, the youth has switched their style up as of late and Ecko might not have fit the mold of tomorrow. The sales for the brand dropped by $18 million last year, while being housed at Macy’s. It is clearly evident that it might just be that time to let things go. For every bad fall there is a greater opportunity and better avenue to follow and hopefully the deal for Ecko will ensure that he can rise back to the top.

A disturbing trend in the nightclub business is the high failure rate of many nightclubs. Most nightclubs only last One to Five years before requiring a remodel or simply closing their doors due to profit loss. So what is it that most of these clubs are doing wrong? Should they learn to spend less? Do they need to cut costs? Get the cheapest entertainment they can find? The answer to these questions is at the heart of the problem.

As a nightclub owner or manager your marketing and entertainment choices have a strong influence on your bottom line. The effort you put into researching entertainment and the level you are comfortable paying for top quality entertainment can be One of the most important factors in your nightclub’s ability to generate huge profits.

The Right Entertainment Brings In The Crowd

Most nightclubs think they need to cut their costs rather than learn what efforts will bring in more revenue. They cut costs on everything they can and the inexperienced Ones even cut costs on their marketing and their entertainment. This is where many of them go wrong. Your marketing efforts must be strong and consistent, furthermore your marketing message must stand out from your competitors and drive people to your venue. Your entertainment needs to be top notch, enjoyable and keep your patrons there or your marketing dollars will have been wasted in vein. Your music and entertainment choice must drive your patrons to not only come back every week but it must overwhelm their emotions to also make them spread the word about your great venue and your incredible entertainment.

DJ Craze Always Delivers

One big mistake nightclub owners make is hiring DJs and bands based on price alone. They don’t bother to research DJs, many nightclub owners don’t ever really listen to what their DJ plays or how well they mix except for small intermittent listens as they pass by to talk to the bar manager VIP host or wait staff. If you just hired a new DJ you have to take the time to listen to his or her performance for at least the first few times. If you are going to bring in special DJs you should do your research first, don’t just bring in a DJ because your competitor has done so in the past and their show sold out. There may have been other factors involved. Make sure it is because the DJ is good. Most of all don’t choose your resident DJ only because he is the least expensive decent DJ. You need exceptional DJs if you are really going to compete and stay profitable. Hiring inexperienced DJs because they cost $200-400 less than a high quality DJ is going to cost your business way more money than the $200-400 you thought you saved. Sure you may save a few dollars on a DJ now but if it costs you 40-400 patrons and $1000-8000 it definitely is not a wise decision.

The DJ is responsible for the entertainment of the entire establishment, they also help set the mood of all your patrons. A good DJ will keep the majority of your crowd at your establishment from opening til close. A good DJ will also make these people want to return week after week and encourage them to bring their friends. A mediocre or bad DJ can have your patrons leaving early never to return, make people restless and more prone to fight or simply bore them to death in which case your establishment may start earning a bad reputation for being a boring nightclub. You want people to be excited about your nightclub and you can only achieve this with good entertainment

What is good entertainment worth? Usually more than what you pay for it! Good entertainment pays you back not just on the day you pay for it but well into the future. If your establishment becomes known as the spot that brings in the best talent, and the spot that has the best local talent it will usually be the One spot everyone wants to go to. It’s important to note here that many times the nightclubs that spend the most on their entertainment also tend to be the nightclubs that are the most profitable.

DJ Emir Is An Amazing DJ that Blazes Dancefloors Around The World

You want a good balance between great entertainment and a reasonable price. The saying goes: “Don’t expect champagne if you are only paying beer prices.” Similarly, don’t expect champagne and bottle service buying patrons if your entertainment is only Pabst Blue Ribbon worthy. Pay for a higher caliber DJ, advertise your club that way and train your staff to treat your customers as VIP and you will retain and attract a higher status VIP clientele and the higher profits associated with them.

DJ Serafin Is A Great DJ That Knows How To Rock The Party

The bottom line: If you want to keep your bottom line profitable don’t try and do so by cutting back on your entertainment. A smart budget for entertainment that doesn’t emphasis cutting back spending, but rather on getting the best entertainment you can afford will drive more customers to your door, drive your profits skyward and keep your nightclub doors open.

DJ Emir Transformers Mixtape 2008 Mixtape of the Year

DJ Emir’s Transformers mixtape is so well put together and so extremely entertaining that one can listen to it over and over without ever tiring or needing to fast forward. With the insane mixing, scratches and remixes DJ Emir threw on this mixtape, the Transformers Mixtape has dominated the nightclub mixtape circuit. It decimated the inferior mixtapes that have flooded the market and over-saturated the mixtape markets with hosts of inferior products. In a world that has become much too complacent with mediocrity, DJ Emir has elevated our expectations and brought back hope to a dying breed of mixtapes. His Transformers Mixtape truly is a masterpiece of epic proportions. We have listened to it on a constant basis at home in the office and in our rides and yet it remains our all time favorite mixtape of the year. Thus we have crowned DJ Emir’s Transformers Mixtape with its most deserved title of VIP Night Club Magazine 2008 Mixtape of The Year. Available at www.DJEMIR.com

DJ Emir “The King of Mixtapes” pays tribute to Michael Jackson “The King of Pop” the proper way, by mixing blending, remixing and cutting up Michaels hottest tracks and songs that were ispired by the legendary performer. The mixtape starts off with the hardest “Bad” remix I have ever heard and simply never lets up after that with 80 minutes of the best Michael Jackson original songs and remixes all mixed and blended the way only a real DJ can do it. His motto “real DJs Do real Things” really rings true on this ultra hot mixtape. It’s almost as if Emir is trying to resurrect Michael Jackson himself through his mixing. I can almost imagine Emir trying to bring Michael back from the beyond like a doctor who refuses to quit on his patient, cause Emir puts that much passion into this mixtape.

“DJ Emir’s Michael Jackson Badder Than Bad Mixtape has to be the single hardest Michael Jackson Mixtape on the planet! DJ Emir “The King of Mixtapes” pays tribute to Michael Jackson “The King of Pop” the proper way, by mixing blending, remixing and cutting up Michaels hottest tracks and songs that were inspired by the legendary performer.

Well known for blending in Old time favorites with todays hottest music both live in the clubs and on his amazing mixtapes Emir does the same with the Michael Jackson tribute mixtape, only to a whole new level. Our favorite remixes of the Badder than Bad mixtape include DJ Emir’s remixes of “Bad”, “They Don’t Care About Us”, “Man in the Mirror”, “You Rock My World” and “I Wan’t You Back” among others.

I was really feeling the “you Rock my world remix over Jamie Foxx’s “Blame it” and The Jackson 5 “I Wan’t You Back” reggae remixes. Those joints were pure fire.

DJ Emir’s mixing and blending skills are amongst the best in the world and his mixtapes are the best of the best and always come through clean and crisp banging hit after hit through your speakers. The Michael Jackson mix is no different, it is an instant classic which really does Michael Jackson an honor and creates a tribute worthy of bearing the name Michael Jackson.

When I listen to Emir’s Michael Jackson Mixtape I feel like Michael is still with us. Especially when Liberian girl comes in I feel like Michael Jackson is right there with me in the room. I want to cry everytime I hear that song. It’s followed by another great song by another dead great, the late Tupac Shakur and his song “Letter to My Unborn Child” which sampled Liberian girl.

This mixtape appeals to Michael Jackson fans and mixtape fans alike with such a diverse musical selection and a very creative mixing style that compliments the creative genius that was Michael Jackson. Emir did this One right and created a masterpiece that is worthy of carrying on Michaels legacy of great music to new generations of listeners.

I’m personally submitting Emir’s Michael Jackson Mixtape for this years Mixtape of the Year competition cause it is worthy of winning. Considering Emir’s Transformers Mixtape won last years mixtape of the year award and this mixtape is even hotter, It’s probably a sure fire winner. This is definetly my pick for 2009 Mixtape of the Year.”
